Lamprecht and Meyer was originally known as H Lamprecht and Kie. It was founded in 1976 by Mr Lampies Lamprecht, after he gained nearly 10 years of experience with a previous firm. 1986, Mazahn De Jager joins as a clerk. 1988, Cynthia Lottering joins as an admin clerk. February 1991, James Meyer joins and studies extramural, April 1991 Michelle Du Preez joins as a clerk. In 1998, James Meyer became a partner and the firm changed to a partnership called Lamprecht and Meyer. 2000, Surika Kriel joins and starts studying part time. 2004, David McKinnon joins as a partner at Lamprecht and Meyer. 2019, Lamprecht and Meyer transitions into a private company with James as the managing director, David and Surika as directors, Lampies as a senior consultant and the next generation of accountants in training.
